Germaine, Blaze rally in fourth quarter for win
Apr 2, 2007 - 3:36 AM LAS VEGAS (Ticker) -- Joe Germaine threw seven touchdown passes - four to Siaha Burley - as the Utah Blaze used a fourth-quarter rally to post a 57-47 win over the Las Vegas Gladiators.Germaine was 20-of-35 for 340 yards, and Siaha Burley caught eight passes for 163 yards for the Blaze (4-1), who outscored the Gladiators, 20-10, in the fourth quarter to secure the victory.
With the Utah trailing, 40-37, heading into the final period, Germaine threw three straight TDs - two to Burley - to give Utah a 57-40 lead with 2:02 left.
Shaun King threw six TDs and Thabiti Davis caught two scores for the Gladiators (1-4).
