Dutton helps Crush roll past Rampage
May 3, 2008 - 7:01 AM DENVER (Ticker) -- John Dutton threw for five touchdowns to lead the Colorado Crush to a convincing 63-28 victory over the Grand Rapids Rampage on Friday night.Dutton finished 34-of-46 for 319 yards and Aaron Hosack had 10 catches for 88 yards and four scores for Colorado (4-5), which scored 28 straight points in the second quarter to grab a 42-21 edge at the break.
Defensive lineman Nick Rogers' fumble recovery for a score put the Crush ahead, 56-21, with 4:12 remaining in the third quarter.
James MacPherson completed 17-of-31 passes for 230 yards and three touchdowns for the Rampage (3-6), who fell to 6-4 in the all-time series.
