MacPherson sets team record as Rampage ambush Crush
Jun 8, 2008 - 6:04 AM GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan (Ticker) -- James MacPherson threw a team-record 10 touchdown passes as the Grand Rapids Rampage routed the Colorado Crush, 84-65, on Saturday night.Chris Johnson, Kenny Higgins and Cole Magner each caught three scores for the Rampage (4-10), who outscored the Crush, 37-14, in the second quarter.
MacPherson threw four scores in the pivotal quarter for Grand Rapids, which took a 44-24 lead entering the third and never looked back.
Willie Quinnie caught four TDs for Colorado (4-10), which committed three turnovers.
