Crush score 47 points in middle periods to beat Gladiators

Apr 21, 2007 - 7:44 AM DENVER (Ticker) -- John Dutton threw two touchdown passes and Rashad Floyd returned two interceptions for touchdowns in third period as the Colorado Crush pulled away for a 63-53 victory over the Las Vegas Gladiators.

The Crush trailed, 33-24, heading into the second half before Floyd picked off Brian Jones and scampered 23 yards for a touchdown.

After Dutton threw a pair of TDs to Damian Harrell, Floyd picked off Jones again and scored from eight yards out on the final play of the third period to give Colorado (5-3) a 50-33 edge.

Dutton completed 24-of-32 passes for 185 yards and six touchdowns. Harrell caught nine balls for 91 yards.

Jones was 30-of-41 for 331 yards and six TDS, but he was picked off three times and sacked four times as Las Vegas (1-7) lost despite holding a 312-187 edge in total offense.
