Sabercats win fourth straight over Gladiators

May 13, 2007 - 8:05 AM SAN JOSE, California (Ticker) -- Mark Grieb threw five touchdown passes - three to Jason Geathers - as the San Jose Sabercats cruised to a fourth straight victory, a 61-34 rout over the Las Vegas Gladiators.

Grieb completed 18-of-24 passes for 280 yards with one interception. Geathers had eight receptions for 132 yards and Ben Nelson added seven catches for 99 yards and two scores for the Sabercats (7-3), who remain undefeated at home this season.

Brian Jones passed for 232 yards but was intercepted four times for the Gladiators, who have lost nine games in a row.

Thabiti Davis had 11 catches for 135 yards and two scores and Travis LaTendresse hauled in 11 catches for 108 yards and a touchdown for Las Vegas, which committed six turnovers.
