McEntyre's interception returns help Predators top SaberCats

May 4, 2008 - 3:08 AM ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- Defensive back Kenny McEntyre returned two interceptions for touchdowns and the Orlando Predators forced five turnovers en route to a 61-35 victory over the San Jose SaberCats on Saturday.

The Predators (7-3) turned three first-half turnovers into 17 points, including McEntyre's nine-yard interception return for a TD with 28 seconds left in the first quarter, to take a 27-7 lead at halftime.

Mark Grieb, who went 20-of-39 for 231 yards and five TDs, threw three third-quarter scores as the SaberCats (5-5) got within six points at 34-28 late in the period.

However, Predators backup quarterback Jake Eaton ran for a pair of touchdowns and McEntyre returned his second pick of the game 47 yards with under a minute left to cap Orlando's 20-0 run that closed the game.
