Storm stave off Predators
Apr 27, 2008 - 5:05 AM ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- Brett Dietz threw two touchdown passes and Torrance Marshall ran for another two scores to lead the Tampa Bay Storm to a 48-41 victory over the Orlando Predators on Saturday.Dietz completed 17-of-31 passes for 171 yards for Tampa Bay (3-5), which led 48-28 with 9:38 to play after a 29-yard field goal by Seth Marler.
Marshall had 10 carries for 24 yards and Lawrence Samuels had five receptions for 45 yards and one touchdown. Samuels also had an interception return for a TD for the Storm.
Shane Stafford was 25-of-32 for 266 yards and five touchdowns with two interceptions and Chas Gessner had 11 catches for 110 yards and two touchdowns for Orlando (6-3).
