Bucks entertain Raptors in Brew City

Apr 11, 2011 - 2:56 PM (Sports Network) - Two Eastern Conference teams playing out the string collide tonight in Brew City, as the Milwaukee Bucks play host to the Toronto Raptors at the Bradley Center.

Milwaukee will host Toronto before visiting Oklahoma City in the season finale on Wednesday, and is 21-19 at home this season. It has alternated wins and losses over the previous eight games and recorded a 108-101 victory over Cleveland on Saturday. John Salmons scored 32 points and Drew Gooden posted the first triple-double of his career with 15 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists for the Bucks.

"He was very good tonight," Bucks head coach Scott Skiles said of Gooden. "He rebounded the ball, he passed the ball, he shot the ball, he was active. He's been pretty active in the games he's played, and tonight was a little bit different level."

Brandon Jennings had 14 points and nine assists in the win.

Toronto will visit Milwaukee before closing out the season versus Miami on Wednesday, and is 6-34 on the road. It has lost seven in a row on the road.

The Raptors won for the second time in 11 tries with Sunday's 99-92 home win over the New Jersey Nets, as Jerryd Bayless paced Toronto with 19 points and DeMar DeRozan, Ed Davis and James Johnson each scored 18.

Toronto ended a three-game slide in the process.

On the injury front for Toronto, guards Leandro Barbosa (finger), Jose Calderon (hamstring) and Sonny Weems (knee) and center Andrea Bargnani (ankle) are all expected to miss Monday's game.

Milwaukee has won the first three meetings with Toronto this season and is 7-2 over the past nine matchups between the teams. The Raptors have lost four straight contests at the Bradley Center.
