Duke eyes second win over Michigan

ANN ARBOR, Michigan (Ticker) -- Duke defeated Michigan more than two weeks ago at Madison Square Garden. This time, it will have to deal with the Wolverines' home crowd.

The fourth-ranked Blue Devils go for their ninth straight win when they visit Michigan on Saturday.

In the championship of the 2K Sports Classic Benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer, Duke posted a 71-56 victory over Michigan on November 21. The Wolverines had upset UCLA to reach the title game.

The Blue Devils did not have any problems in their first road game on Tuesday, cruising to a 76-60 triumph over No. 10 Purdue in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

Jon Scheyer scored 20 points and Kyle Singer had 20 and 12 rebounds to lead Duke in the win. Singler is averaging 17.1 points and 7.5 rebounds.

The Wolverines are coming off a 75-70 setback at Maryland on Wednesday.

Manny Harris, who tied a season-low with 15 points in the loss to Maryland, leads Michigan in scoring at 21.3 points per game.

Michigan is 4-0 at home.
