Georgia women walk over Kentucky in SEC quarterfinal
Mar 3, 2007 - 12:09 AM DULUTH, Georgia (Ticker) -- Angel Robinson scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds off the bench as No. 12 Georgia routed Kentucky, 72-40, in the first round of the Southeastern Conference tournament.Tasha Humphrey had 14 points and eight rebounds, Ashley Houts scored 12 points and Janese Hardrick added 10 for Georgia (24-5), who has won six straight games.
Georgia shot 41 percent (23-of-56) from the field and made 24-of-26 free throws. The Lady Bulldogs held a 43-37 advantage in rebounds.
Carly Ormerod scored 14 points but was the lone player in double figures for Kentucky (18-12), which shot an awful 20 percent (12-of-60).
