Humphrey, Robinson help Georgia stave off Oakland
Nov 30, 2007 - 3:34 AM ATHENS, Georgia (Ticker) -- Tasha Humphrey scored all of her 19 points in the second half to help eighth-ranked Georgia to a 69-59 victory over Oakland on Thursday.Angel Robinson scored 15 points for the Bulldogs, who had three players record double-doubles.
Georgia trailed, 32-27, at halftime but rallied to avoid the upset.
Humphrey grabbed 11 rebounds and Robinson pulled down 12 for Georgia, which shot just 35 percent (21-of-60) from the floor.
Jessica Pike scored 23 points for the Golden Griffins, who were outscored, 42-27, in the second half.
