Adair lifts George Washington over Pepperdine
Dec 30, 2007 - 9:30 PM WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- Jessica Adair collected 25 points and four blocks, leading No. 20 George Washington to an 82-68 triumph over Pepperdine on Sunday afternoon.Kimberly Beck finished with 16 points and eight assists and Whitney Allen added 15 and eight rebounds for the Colonials (10-3), who have won five straight games.
Antelia Parrish collected 12 points and nine rebounds and Sarah-Jo Lawerence had 14 points for George Washington, which committed just eight turnovers and took a 47-34 advantage into the break.
The Waves (5-6) were led by Teiosha George, who scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Jessica Ross added 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting for Pepperdine, which shot 42 percent (27-of-64).
