Van Bronckhorst set to take charge at Feyenoord
Mar 23, 2015 - 6:29 PM Rotterdam, Netherlands (SportsNetwork.com) - Former Netherlands international Giovanni van Bronckhorst will take charge at Feyenoord after the current season, the club announced on Monday.Van Bronckhorst is currently serving as an assistant at the Rotterdam club under manager Fred Rutten, who will leave at the end of the season.
A former player at Arsenal, Rangers and Barcelona, Van Bronckhorst will take charge of Feyenoord on a two-year contract, taking over the club where he started and ended his playing career.
Feyenoord recorded a 2-1 win over Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven on Sunday, keeping the club in third place in the league table with six games remaining.
