Greisen's 10 TD passes help Force outscore Desperados

Apr 22, 2007 - 6:01 AM ATLANTA (Ticker) -- For the second week in a row Chris Greisen decided to throw for 10 touchdowns.

Greisen completed 25-of-37 attempts and one interception as the Georgia Force posted a 78-63 victory over the Dallas Desperados, who lost for the first time this season.

Greisen, who set a team record with 10 scoring tosses in Georgia's 69-68 victory over Las Vegas on April 15, matched that total.

He connected on TDs with wide receivers Derek Lee and Chris Jackson in the first quarter before tossing three more to Troy Bergeron, Lee and Jackson in the second period when Georgia took a 44-28 halftime lead.

The 30-year old from Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin found Jackson twice in the third quarter when the Force led 57-42 entering the final period. He threw a 23-yard score to Bergeron just 26 seconds into the last quarter, before connecting for the fifth time with Jackson with from 16 yards out with 7:56 left.

His final TD pass was an eight-yarder to Bergeron with just under two minutes left for Georgia (7-1), which matches Dallas (7-1) for the best record in the AFL.

Clint Dolezel, who connected for his 800th career touchdown last week in Dallas' 51-41 win over the Philadelphia Soul, threw eight touchdowns for the Desperado in this game. The 11-year veteran went 28-of-40 for 338 yards, tossing for four TD passes in each half.
