Greisen's eight TD passes help Force cruise past Blaze
Mar 30, 2008 - 5:11 AM SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- Chris Greisen tossed a season-high eight touchdown passes as the Georgia Force posted a 70-49 victory over the Utah Blaze on Saturday.Greisen completed 21-of-32 attempts for 248 yards and an interception for Georgia (2-3), which won its first-ever matchup against Utah.
Wide receiver Tiger Jones caught nine passes for 131 yards and five touchdowns in his Arena League debut and Carl Morris had eight catches and two scores for the Force, which led, 35-28, at halftime before two third-quarter touchdowns gave them a secure working margin.
Joe Germaine went 31-of-48 for 356 yards and seven TDS for Utah (0-5), which has dropped two straight.
