Sanders, Nash guide Desperados past Destroyers

Mar 8, 2008 - 5:47 AM DALLAS (Ticker) -- Chris Sanders threw for 268 yards and five touchdowns to help the Dallas Desperados post a 46-36 victory over the Columbus Destroyers on Friday.

Sanders completed 21-of-34 passes and tossed three first-half scores to Marcus Nash as Dallas (2-0) held a commanding 33-17 edge at intermission.

Nash finished with eight catches for 112 yards.

With Friday's triumph, the Desperados have won their first two games for a third consecutive season.

Matt Nagy went 21-of-35 for 202 yards, throwing all four of his touchdowns to Derek Lee for the Destroyers (0-2), who were held to just 13 first downs.

Lee caught nine passes for 131 yards.
