Apr 1, 2009 - 4:38 AM GOODYEAR, Arizona (Ticker) -- Ronny Cedeno hit a grand slam and Russell Branyan homered twice as the Seattle Mariners crushed the Cleveland Indians, 12-4.

Endy Chavez added three hits and an RBI and Wladimir Balentien drove in two runs and scored two runs for the Mariners, who pounded out 16 hits.

Scott Lewis, who was named to the Indians' starting rotation last week, allowed 10 runs and 13 hits in 3 2/3 innings.

At Mesa, Arizona - Chone Figgins, Torii Hunter and Vladimir Guerrero drove in two runs apiece as the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim doubled up the Chicago Cubs, 8-4.

At Glendale, Arizona - Jorge De La Rosa struck out nine in 5 1/3 innings and Clint Barmes went 3-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored to lead the Colorado Rockies to a 4-1 win over the Chicago White Sox.

At Phoenix - Travis Buck drove in three runs and Josh Outman allowed two runs and struck out six in 5 2/3 innings as the Oakland Athletics topped the Kansas City Royals, 7-2.

At Surprise, Arizona - Pablo Sandoval drove in three runs, Rich Aurilia added two RBI and Emmanuel Burriss scored three to lead the San Francisco Giants to a 10-3 win over the Texas Rangers.

At Tucson, Arizona - Andre Ethier drove in three runs and Casey Blake, Blake DeWitt and James Loney homered to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 10-9 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

At Peoria, Arizona - Brian Giles and Eliezer Alfonzo both hit solo home runs, leading the San Diego Padres to a 6-5 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.
