Apr 4, 2009 - 5:24 AM FRISCO, Texas (Ticker) -- Andruw Jones had a two-run double and David Murphy added a pair of RBI as the Texas Rangers claimed a 7-2 victory over the Kansas City Royals.

Jones, who was signed by the Rangers after a disastrous stint with the Los Angeles Dodgers last season, improved his average to .300 this spring while notching his seventh and eighth RBI.

Josh Hamilton, Marlon Byrd and Hank Blalock each drove in one run apiece in support of Brandon McCarthy, who improved to 4-0 this spring after relieving starter Vicente Padilla.

McCarthy allowed one run and three hits in four innings, walking one while striking out one.

David DeJesus and Jose Guillen each had an RBI for the Royals.

At Phoenix: Carlos Quentin stroked a two-run double and John Danks allowed two hits in five scoreless innings while striking out five and walking one as the Chicago White Sox claimed a 6-3 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

At Las Vegas: Ryan Spilborghs hit a solo home run and added an RBI groundout for the Colorado Rockies, who earned a 6-3 win over the Seattle Mariners.

At San Diego: Chase Headley's RBI single in the seventh inning proved the difference as the San Diego Padres outlasted the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, 6-5.

At Los Angeles: Russell Martin drove in two runs on an inside-the-park homer, but the Los Angeles Dodgers failed to overcome the Milwaukee Brewers, enduring a 7-2 setback.

At San Francisco: Jack Hannahan scored on a wild pitch by Luis Perdomo in the top of the 10th inning, lifting the Oakland Athletics to a 2-1 victory over the San Francisco Giants.
