Aug 14, 2011 - 1:43 AM Uncasville, CT (Sports Network) - Tina Charles dropped 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Connecticut Sun past the Washington Mystics 82-75.Renee Montgomery added 16 points and Kara Lawson chipped in with 10 points off the bench to lead the Sun to their fifth win in seven tries.
Crystal Langhorne scored a game-high 17 points while Matee Ajavon and Marissa Coleman scored 14 apiece for the Mystics, who have dropped six of their last eight.
The game went back-and-forth throughout the first three quarters, but the Sun ultimately pulled away after a 6-0 run in the fourth to seal the victory.
