Stafford leads Predators to blowout win

Apr 30, 2007 - 2:55 AM LAS VEGAS (Ticker) -- Shane Stafford threw six touchdown passes as the Orlando Predators thrashed the Las Vegas Gladiators, 69-34, on Sunday.

Stafford threw three TD passes in the first half and the Predators' defense dominated Orlando built a 34-0 halftime lead.

Javarus Dudley and Clif Dell had three touchdowns for the Predators (5-3), who racked up 377 total yards of offense.

Stafford was a big reason for the offensive proficiency. He was nearly perfect completing 17 of 20 passes for 255 yards.

Brian Jones threw for four scores and racked up 324 yards passing for the Gladiators (1-8), who scored 20 unanswered points in the second half but could not overcome the huge deficit.

Joe Douglass hauled in 13 passes for 170 yards and one score for the Gladiators.
