Apr 3, 2009 - 2:31 AM KISSIMMEE, Florida (Ticker) -- Jair Jurrjens threw four solid innings and Kelly Johnson homered as the Atlanta Braves posted a 2-1 victory over the Houston Astros.

Jurrjens allowed an unearned run and five hits with one strikeout. He did not walk a batter.

Nicholas Moresi had a pair of hits for Houston.

At Lakeland, Florida - Miguel Cabrera drove in three runs as the Detroit Tigers topped the Toronto Blue Jays, 8-5.

At Jupiter, Florida - Colby Rasmus homered and drove in three runs as the St. Louis Cardinals edged the Florida Marlins, 6-3.

At Dunedin, Florida - Virgil Vazquez struck out nine in 4 2/3 innings, but a split squad of Pittsburgh Pirates fell, 6-4, to Manatee Community College.

At Port St. Lucie, Florida - Ramon Castro homered and drove in three runs as the New York Mets rallied for a 9-8 victory over the Baltimore Orioles.

At Bradenton, Florida - Craig Monroe homered and drove in two runs as a split squad of Pittsburgh Pirates posted a 6-5 triumph over the Cincinnati Reds.

At Corpus Christi, Texas - Brian Esposito hit a two-run blast in the bottom of the ninth inning as Class AA Corpus Christi spoiled a splendid outing from Wandy Rodriguez, rallying for a 6-5 victory over a split squad of Houston Astros.
